About the Role
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales growth with both new prospects and existing customers. Youll focus on understanding customer needs, building strong relationships, and meeting achievable monthly and annual sales targets within your area.
While there are clear responsibilities and KPIs, this isnt a high-pressure environment if you put in the effort, communicate well, follow process, and work respectfully with the team, the role is rewarding and straightforward.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities within your area.
Engage prospects through meetings and visits, assessing potential spend.
Grow and retain existing accounts by understanding customer needs and delivering solutions.
Strategic Sales Planning & Target Achievement
Set, pursue, and achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Monitor competitors and market activity, adjusting approach to stay ahead.
Provide accurate forecasts and strategic sales plans to management.
Promote our TPMS Training Program to clients, highlighting its benefits for compliance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Customer Relationship Management
Maintain regular communication and visits with customers.
Share relevant promotions, offers, and new product information.
Collect feedback and work with internal teams to improve service delivery.
TPMS Training Program Promotion
Educate clients on the advantages of TPMS training.
Provide marketing materials and promotions to drive uptake.
Gather and share feedback to continuously improve the program.
About You
Wed love to hear from you if you have:
Proven experience in Sales/Business Development with a track record of meeting targets.
Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and active listening abilities.
Analytical skills for market analysis, competitor tracking, and sales reporting.
Strong organisation and time management, able to juggle multiple accounts.
Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, CRM systems, and sales tracking tools.
Personable, ambitious, and eager to learn (TPMS training will be provided).
