Vehicle Technician Taunton
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm
Location: Taunton
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Vehicle Technician to join our busy and professional workshop in Taunton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-equipped environment where quality workmanship and attention to detail are valued.
You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and in line with manufacturer guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on all types of vehicles
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
Perform MOT preparation and safety inspections where required
Work to manufacturer and company standards to deliver quality and reliability
Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
Ensure compliance with health & safety policies at all times
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Good attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of workmanship
Full UK driving licence
