As our Deputy Manager, you will help to create a special atmosphere for guests. You will still be out there on the floor, right at the heart of the action - but you\'ll be more than just "one of the team". While the General Manager drives the business, it is you that manages the day-to-day running of the business. You will take ownership of problems and follow a mantra of "always doing the right thing". This role supports the General Manager and is a great way to learn the business side of running a pub. It is a chance to develop your skills and gain the knowledge you need to progress your career. You will deliver great standards and a pub to be proud of, and ensure guests have the best experience when with us. We are looking for great people to join us. Responsibilities

* Support the General Manager in driving and delivering excellence throughout all aspects of the premises.
* Be a role model and guide training and development within the team.
* Lead and manage day-to-day operations on the floor, taking ownership of problems and resolving issues promptly.
* Foster a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture.
* Deliver great standards and a pub to be proud of, ensuring guests have the best experience when with us.

Qualifications
* Solid experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of leading and delivering results.
* Restaurant/Hospitality experience is essential.
* Experience in leading teams to success.
* Strong financial skills and ability to manage audits and due diligence.
* Ability to manage budgets, labour controls and forecasting.
* Strong commercial acumen to drive sales and deliver business results.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly.
* Great communication skills to lead and inspire a team and delight guests.
* Passion for great food, drink, and service; supports management in leading shifts with confidence.
* Proven management experience in a hospitality or service-led role.
* Organised, capable of multitasking.
