Overview
Luscinia Ecology is seeking a full-time Senior Ecologist, ideally with a specialist interest in habitats and botany, to join our growing team.
Established in April 2022, we've had strong performance and growth over the last three survey seasons. We're a CIEEM Registered Practice and our strength is in the delivery of high-quality services, which ultimately leads to client retention and consistent client referral.
Our team mean the world to us. We're a friendly, welcoming and inclusive bunch. We ensure each team member has autonomy in a nurturing environment in which they can grow and develop whilst delivering projects right through from quoting to invoicing.
As we're a new and developing company, we're looking for individuals to take ownership, apply new ideas, and improve overall delivery. We view this as a genuine opportunity to shape outputs.
We are based in Bristol, with an office in Corsham, and projects spanning the South of England. Most of our projects are located within the Home Counties, Southwest and South Midlands. The project-based nature of our work means you'll need to be willing to undertake travel with some overnight stays. However, we ensure our team maintains good work-life balance.
We Offer
* Hybrid contract – With 50% of contracted hours to be office based
* Job crafting – If successful and during the interview process, we'll work with you to shape the role to fit your needs
* Agile and Flexible approaches to work – Provided we know where you are, you are productive, and you maintain a team 'presence' we do not mind where you work, how you work, or when you work
* Regular in-house training and a generous external training course budget, along with an employee led self-development framework
* Professional memberships & licenses paid for
* Enhanced pension contribution and 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, private medical and income protection
* The opportunity to join an ambitious company, with a genuine offer of career progression
