About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities include planning and implementing care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence.You will get to know residents and their families, helping to deliver personalized care plans.Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at mealtimes, or communicating with families, kindness is essential.Assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you'll provide physical and mental stimulation through social activities and administer medication.
Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key parts of your role.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be willing to work towards Level 3 or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care knowledge. Your positive energy, ability to get along with others, good record-keeping, and time management are vital. Communication should always be considerate and kind.
