DT Teacher – Maternity Cover – Canterbury – December Start
We are currently working in partnership with a well-established secondary school in Canterbury, who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join their team on a full-time maternity cover basis from December 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, where creativity and innovation are at the heart of the curriculum.
The Role:
* Deliver engaging and practical DT lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Teach a range of DT disciplines, including Resistant Materials, Product Design, and Graphics (depending on specialism)
* Plan and assess effectively to support student progress
* Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Has experience teaching DT in a UK secondary school
* Passionate about design, engineering, and technology
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
