We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) for a thriving secondary school near Romsey. In this full‑time role, the successful candidate will lead and strategically develop SEN provision, liaise with external agencies, mentor TAs, and ensure inclusive support across all subject areas.
Experience and Qualifications
• National Award for SEN Coordination or willingness to complete
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and classroom teaching experience
• Strong knowledge of SEN law, EHCPs, and graduated response approaches
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaborative skills
• Legal entitlement to work in the UK
