Are you a motivated individual looking for a rewarding career in manufacturing? Kingspan Century is looking for a Machine Operator to join our Production team in Ballyclare.
What you’ll do:
As Machine Operator, you will be a vital part of our manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include:
* Ensure the machine is in good working order before use. Ensure all emergency stops and safety mechanisms are working correctly and that all safety guarding is in place.
* Ensure the machine is manufacturing product within the specified tolerance by carrying out a tolerance check every morning
* Train Operatives on the use of the machine.
* Conduct weekly preventative maintenance checks on the machine.
* Maintain a clean working environment.
* Ensure that you and the operatives are wearing the correct PPE at all times and adhere to health and safety procedures.
You will have:
* Previous experience working in a factory/ manufacturing process environment.
* Experience in the operation of CNC machinery.
* Ability to carry out maintenance checks
* Ability to read manufacturing drawings
* Experience of working shifts.
* Basic understanding of touch screen technology
* Saw training is also preferred

Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30
Friday 08:00 to 15:30
