We are seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Recruiter with a deep track record supporting Defence and Government programmes and clients. This role requires someone with an established network of security cleared candidates across IT and a proven ability to source, engage, and deliver talent into complex, high compliance environments.
You’ll play a critical role supporting our clients by providing exceptional delivery capability, partnering closely with stakeholders, and ensuring we consistently secure the specialist skills our clients depend on.
This position operates as a 270 consultant role primarily focused on candidate delivery, sourcing, and placement, with an additional client-facing and account management element. It is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the talent market while developing broader client exposure, without moving into a full 360 sales position.
You will play a critical role in delivering SC/DV-cleared technology professionals into secure, high-compliance environments that support nationally significant programmes.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle across cleared technical roles
* Source, engage, and place SC/DV-cleared IT professionals across contract and permanent requirements
* Deliver high-quality shortlists within agreed SLAs and performance expectations
* Independently manage offers, rate negotiation, and candidate objections
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders, contributing to account success
* Use data, market insight, and hiring intelligence to influence recruitment outcomes
* Support recruitment strategy discussions, client meetings, and delivery reviews
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to overall team performance and collaboration
* Maintain strong awareness of market trends, talent movement, and project activity within the cleared technology space
Skills & Experience Required
* Demonstrable success in specialist technology recruitment
* Experience supporting Defence, Government, or UK Intelligence Community hiring environments (desirable)
* Strong headhunting and passive candidate engagement capability
* Confidence managing stakeholders, negotiations, and complex hiring processes
* Experience working to targets, SLAs, and delivery metrics
* Skilled in using sourcing tools, CRM systems, and recruitment technology
* An established network of SC/DV-cleared professionals is highly advantageous
* Confident in head hunting rather than sole reliance on application generation
* Client relationship building and stakeholder management experience
* Awareness of personal brand and impact across the business
* Demonstrable success in engaging/placing passive candidates
* Skilled in using sourcing tools
* Skilled in attracting and placing candidates
* Experience working to targets, deadlines and/or service agreements
* Background in Specialist Recruitment within Tech
* Knowledge and network connections to the Intelligence Community desirable
