Overview
This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management worker to join our team in Cumbria. As our Housing and Property expert, you'll support our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, you'll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts. Also support customer engagement and social activities, we know the key to staying well and healthy is not being lonely and staying as active as possible.
Responsibilities
* Make sure that our customers' properties are homes they can be proud of by engaging and involving them in their tenancies and community.
* Help our customers with housing benefit claims, ensuring these are received on their rent account.
* Keep properties fully occupied and rent accounts up to date.
* Carry out and record routine safety and compliance checks in our buildings and communities, ensuring we are compliant.
* Manage the admin updating records, ordering, and arranging payment for works to be done.

Job Details
* We can be flexible around what hours you work, or we’re open to agreeing a work pattern with you.
* 3.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
* Based at our service in Egremont; you’ll spend time with customers or in the office accessible for our customers.
* Ability to use technology for creating and updating Health and Safety records, making benefit claims and doing tenancy sign-ups.
* Occasionally you may need to cover other schemes or attend team meetings; a vehicle insured for business purposes is required. Mileage we pay.
* Enhanced DBS check is required; we pay for this.
Will be a people person, with a background in property management, but that’s not a deal breaker. Perhaps you’ve worked in an environment with compliance and health and safety checks? A can-do positive attitude, proactive, well organized, and able to work on your own initiative. A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help your customers. The ability to work on your own initiative and positively influence people from all backgrounds. Confidence working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
