Snr Financial Planning Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Financial Planner Assistant to join a reputable and forward-thinking financial services firm in Norwich.

You’ll work alongside a Senior Financial Planner, providing expert support across wealth and protection, while guiding and mentoring junior colleagues as their first point of contact for complex queries.
The Day to Day:
3. Provide comprehensive administrative support to an Advisor, focused on wealth and protection.
4. Act as a first point of escalation for more junior team members, offering guidance and practical solutions.
5. Oversee and support a Financial Planning Assistant directly, ensuring quality and efficiency in workflow.
6. Assist in the training and development of new or less experienced colleagues, supporting a culture of continual improvement
7. Work closely with colleagues across the wider advice and paraplanning teams to ensure seamless client service
8. Manage tasks efficiently within internal CRM.
9. Handle complex administrative and technical queries with professionalism and attention to detail.
You Will Have/Be:
10. Either a CF1 qualification plus one other CF module with a minimum of 5 years’ industry experience, OR QBE 10+ years’ experience within the financial services sector (IFA background preferred)
11. Strong working knowledge across a wide range of financial products
12. Proven ability to support senior advisers and act as a trusted escalation point
13. Confident communication skills with a collaborative, proactive approach
14. Experience mentoring or training others – or clear motivation to progress into a management role
15. Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and ability to work to deadlines
16. Experience using Intelligent Office (IO) strongly preferred.
The Benefits:
17. Salary £32, – £35, DOE (some flexibility for the right candidate). Full-time preferred, though 4 days per week may be considered DOE (must be office-based on working days).
