Primary SEN teacher required in Peterborough

We have partnered with the school to recruit an enthusiastic Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our team and support their KS3 students with diverse learning needs. Your role will be crucial in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of Key Stage 3 students, ensuring differentiation and accessibility for all learners.
* Using a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and facilitate their academic, social, and emotional development.
* Regularly assessing students' progress
* Collaborating effectively with colleagues, support staff, parents/carers, and external professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to supporting students' needs.
* Maintaining accurate records of students' progress, achievements, and interventions, adhering to school policies and statutory requirements.
* Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect, empathy, and diversity and encourages students to reach their full potential.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
* Specialism or experience in Special Education Needs (SEN) and working with Secondary aged pupils
* A strong understanding of diverse learning needs and effective strategies for differentiation and inclusion.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and colleagues.
* Flexibility, resilience, and a commitment to meeting the individual needs of every student.
* Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain) and satisfactory references.

* You will be paid to scale for this role, so whilst employed through us, you will receive a daily rate of pay equivalent to the relevant teacher pay-scale
* Should you find yourself looking to stay with the school permanently and are offered a contract, you will move from weekly pay, to receiving an annual salary and a contract with the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
