Morson Talent is seeking a Civil Engineer to join a market leading client's national Building Design Practice within a growing Civil Engineering team. This role offers a flexible location and hybrid working, supporting a variety of small to medium infrastructure projects across the UK. Key Responsibilities
Deliver civil engineering designs for infrastructure projects in line with relevant standards and codes
Produce and review technical designs for drainage, utilities, pavements, and earthworks
Manage own workload efficiently and contribute to project planning and quality assurance
Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Comply with Quality and Technical Assurance Procedures and BIM standards (Digital Plan of Work, BIM Execution Plan)
Support career development and technical skill enhancement
Skills
Minimum 5 years' experience in civil engineering design, preferably in the building sector
Strong drainage design experience, including use of InfoDrainage or Flow software
Experience with roads and car park design
Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD
Familiarity with Revit BIM 360 (desirable)
Knowledge of UK design standards and construction practices
Good verbal and written communication skills, including report writing
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams
Working towards ICE chartership
Embrace new technologies including digital engineering, automation, and parametric design

Certifications & Standards
Honours Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or HND or equivalent experience
Working towards Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE)
Knowledge of UK design codes and standards relevant to civil engineering structures, drainage, and utilities
Awareness of BIM standards and Digital Plan of Work compliance
Ability to achieve Security Clearance (desirable)
Driving Licence (desirable)
