Senior Project Manager – Construction Consultancy
Location: Birmingham
Type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: £45,000–£60,000 + bonus + benefits
An expanding consultancy is seeking a delivery-focused Senior Project Manager to play a pivotal role within its Birmingham team. With a strong pipeline of work across multiple sectors, this is your opportunity to step into a leadership role, mentor others, and shape major projects from the front.
You’ll join a people-centric environment that values initiative, collaboration, and long-term growth.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Lead multiple high-value projects across the full lifecycle
* Act as the primary client contact, delivering trusted advice and results
* Manage design and contractor teams to ensure quality and programme control
* Oversee budgets, contract administration (JCT/NEC), and risk management
* Mentor junior team members and support business development efforts
What We’re Looking For:
* Degree-qualified in a construction-related field
* At least 3+ years of consultancy-based PM experience (senior or ready to step up)
* Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
* Track record of project delivery across sectors (e.g. education, healthcare, commercial)
* Local to the West Midlands and flexible to travel
* Chartership (APM/RICS) or working towards it preferred
