Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Reporting To: Finance Manager
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our clients finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. This role will also involve liaising with Sales Executives and supporting the management team in driving the company's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Financial Management
* Conduct weekly reviews of aged debt and resolve any outstanding queries
* Process and analyse company credit card transactions
* Prepare and issue monthly rental invoices
* Act as the first point of contact for all accounts-related queries
* Code and input purchase invoices accurately
* Support the Accounts Payable function as needed
* Perform ad hoc finance-related duties as required
* Environmental Responsibility
* Comply with the company's environmental policies and procedures
* Ensure correct disposal of office waste in line with policy
* Consider environmental impact in financial decision-making processes
Key Requirements
* Previous experience in an accounting or finance support role
* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels, including with customers and suppliers
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
