About the Gracewood Village Located in the heart of the Hills District, The Gracewood is a modern aged care retirement village in Kellyville featuring convenient onsite amenities including a café, landscaped gardens and covered terraces, chapel, hair salon, therapy spa, library, electric BBQs and a private function room for family gatherings. We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and hands on Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing and performing the maintenance and property support services at our Gracewood Village. The successful candidate will ensure that all buildings, equipment, and grounds are maintained to the highest standards, in compliance with current regulations and BaptistCare’s quality standards. About the Role: Manage and perform both reactive and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of buildings, plant, equipment, furniture, fittings, gardens, lawns, and carparks Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Aged Care Quality Standards and other relevant regulations Work closely with Site Managers and the Area Manager to deliver maintenance services with minimal impact on residents and staff Maintain accurate records of asset acquisitions and disposals, and ensure the maintenance of site vehicles, plant, and machinery Manage and liaise with contractors, tradespersons, suppliers, and volunteers to ensure all work is completed to BaptistCare’s standards Actively promote and deliver sustainability and ESG-related initiatives About you: To be considered you should have : Trade Qualifications (preferred) Minimum of 12 months experience in preventative and reactive maintenance systems Experience managing maintenance staff Experience in hands-on property maintenance Experience managing an operational budget Experience managing property related contracts and contractors Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft 365 environment.
