Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
1. Produce projections of underwriting performance, feeding into Finance teams planning and forecasting.
2. Collaborate with other Pricing and Insight teams to agree appropriate strategic plan and forecasting assumptions for projection models.
3. Support the GUO Portfolio Management process, producing analysis and material to meet Company requirements.
4. Ensure appropriate value-based retention incentives are in place, rolling out initiatives to front line teams, recommending appropriate corrective action is taken if underperforming.
Experience required:
5. Previous experience leading, developing, coaching and motivating a Pricing, Underwriting or Finance team.
6. Expert knowledge of the dynamics of the private medical insurance (PMI) market.
7. Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory environment in which the Company operates.
8. Demonstrable knowledge of pricing and key drivers of performance.
