Location: County Durham (DH6) Position Type: Full Time / Flexible Start Date: ASAP / Negotiable Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in County Durham to recruit a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Key Stage 2. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic TA to work as part of a dedicated team focused on pupil progress and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum Working with individuals and small groups to provide targeted support and interventions Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting pupils’ emotional and social development Assisting with classroom preparation and the organisation of learning materials Supporting children with varying abilities, including those with additional needs The ideal candidate will have: A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Experience supporting children in a primary school setting, ideally within KS2 A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach to working with children Strong communication and teamwork skills A clear and current enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one) At Teaching Personnel, we offer: A dedicated consultant to support you throughout your placement Opportunities for long-term and permanent roles within local schools Weekly pay through PAYE How to Apply: To apply for this role, please send in your CV!
