Key Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant, your primary role will be to support children and young people with complex needs and mental health difficulties in their educational journey. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing one-on-one and group support in the classroom.
* Assisting in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
* Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Supporting students in developing social and emotional skills.
* Monitoring and recording progress, and communicating effectively with parents and caregivers.
Requirements:
* Relevant experience working with children or young people with complex needs and mental health difficulties.
* A genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional development of students.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
