A vacancy has arisen for the above grade to join the busy Operating Theatres at Macclesfield District General Hospital. We are keen to recruit a motivated and forward-thinking team member to assist in the day-to-day running of Theatres.
Job Responsibilities
1. Provide direct care to patients attending the operating department in a safe and welcoming environment under the supervision of professionally qualified staff.
2. Perform as a safe, competent clinical member of the theatre team, providing care for peri-operative patients under supervision.
3. Prepare the Operating Theatre before and after procedures, ensuring correct equipment is available and functioning, and notify the Registered Practitioner of any issues.
4. Assist in other duties as outlined in the attached Job Description and Person Specification.
Candidate Requirements
* Enthusiastic about learning and developing skills as a Circulating Practitioner.
* Willing to undergo full training and support.
* Flexible approach to work and able to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
