Job Title: Sub Agent - Highways Location: East Anglia Type: Permanent | Full-Time Salary: £50,000-£55,000 plus car allowance bonus About the Role: My client is a reputable and market leading Tier 1 contractor working on high profile projects within the highways sector. Due to a busy pipeline of works, they're seeking an experienced Site Agent within the East Anglia area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a major contractor working on long-term frameworks, offering excellent career progression and exposure to complex projects. Key Responsibilities: ·Assist the Site Agent in managing site operations and ensuring work is delivered to programme, quality, and budget ·Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams ·Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards ·Support in the preparation of RAMS, permits, ITPs, and site documentation ·Monitor site progress and keep accurate records ·Assist with short-term programming and resource planning ·Liaise with engineers, clients, and third parties to maintain strong working relationships Requirements: ·Experience working as a Sub Agent or Senior Engineer on highways or civil engineering projects ·Good knowledge of NEC contracts and highway construction methods ·HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience) ·SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications ·Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills ·Full UK driving licence What's on Offer: ·£50,000-£55,000 per annum depending on experience ·Company car or car allowance ·Guaranteed and discretionary bonuses ·Private healthcare ·Company pension scheme ·Opportunities for career progression within a reputable Tier 1 contractor ·Other benefits which can be discussed upon application FOOTNOTE: If you feel that you are right for this role technically, but the salary, location or seniority does not suit you specifically then please still feel free to send us your CV.
