We have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Security Officer to join our team based at Central Clinic Dudley
1. Hours of Work 37.5 hours per week
2. Shift pattern runs on an 8‑week rota, covering days, nights, and weekends, totalling 37.5 hours per week. Monday – Sunday - Days: 6am–6pm/Nights: 6pm–6am.
3. Pay £26,273 per annum
4. DBS required/ Full manual driving licence required
5. This is a mobile role covering multiple locations including Wolverhampton, Walsall, Rugeley, Tamworth, Lichfield, and parts of Birmingham.

About the role:
The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of NHS Property Services sites, protecting people and property, preventing crime, and responding to incidents in line with policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
7. Conduct frequent vehicle and foot patrols of NHS sites.
8. Identify and report operational security issues; support improvements and implement new procedures with approval.
9. Lock/unlock areas, manage intruder alarms, and investigate activations.
10. Report maintenance issues such as faulty lighting, locks, or access systems.
11. Act in accordance with fire procedures, direct Fire Services, and assist with evacuations.
To be considered for this role you will have:
12. SIA Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) licence
13. SIA Door supervision Licence
14. Knowledge of incident management systems/processes.
15. Knowledge of control and restraint and breakaway procedures; basic knowledge of the law
16. Knowledge of health and Safety, first Aid and Fire Safety, business continuity when dealing with a major incident, incident management and manual handling procedures.
