Equans is looking for a Procurement Manager to join our team in the Midlands on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary bonus and benefits package.
The role holder will be responsible for maximising delivered financial value and enhancing visibility and perception of Procurement within Equans
This role is hybrid with travel to Equans sites and offices
What will you deliver?
1. Delivering consistent and professional Procurement services to internal customers
2. Delivering value (including bottom line savings) on an ongoing basis, meeting specific in-year targets whilst proactively looking for new opportunities.
3. Engaging with internal Stakeholders to understand the requirement and support in delivering Procurement solutions that match these.
4. Be a driver in raising the visibility and perception of Procurement.
5. Managing suppliers who deliver services that are specific to the Business Unit and sourcing new suppliers who are best able to meet the needs of the Business; ensuring best value, fitness for purpose, risk reduction and a quality service to the end customer.
6. Identify opportunities to deliver value by alignment with our Category approach and manage the successful delivery and transparent reporting of deliverables.
7. Identifying innovation for delivery to our end customers.
8. Streamlining procurement processes and procedures.
9. Delivering and exceeding on our sustainability commitments.
10. Engage with operational teams to manage the performance of subcontractors

Who are we looking for?
22. Experience of similar multi stakeholder organisations/roles
23. Suitable procurement, commercial and or financial / accounting or QS experience within a similar industry sector
24. Understanding and practical application of base UK law applicable to Commercial / contracts.
25. Excellent communicator with the ability to tailor approach based on the audience
26. Financial acumen with an ability to analyse data and documentation with accuracy
27. Skilled negotiator with proven experience in a procurement / commercial environment
28. Able to support and as required leading in all supplier dispute resolution activity in these contracts areas or having a thorough input into the dispute resolution activity.
