An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic administrator to work within the CWP corporate Safeguarding services to provide a quality, comprehensive administrative, secretarial and organisational support to the Safeguarding Team.
The Safeguarding administrator is responsible for the efficient coordination of processes and systems to support administrative functions within the team and to undertake efficient and effective delivery of this service.
The post holder will be required to act on their own initiative in dealing with day-to-day issues. The position requires the communication of sensitive information on issues regarding serious incidents or where abuse is suspected and as such can be distressing. Proficiency in the use of NHS electronic record systems is essential. This post is a full-time permanent role and is suitable for candidates with safeguarding administrative experience.

The Trust currently supports the Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate as set by the Living Wage Federation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.
* To be responsible for inputting, maintaining and retrieval of information from/to relevant databases and to assist in the preparation of statistical and audit information.
* To undertake word processing of correspondence, reports, agendas and minutes. Produce other documents and presentations using the most appropriate element of Microsoft These can be produced by copy typing or audio.
* Where applicable maintain departmental/service intranet/extranet
* To organise and prioritise own workload on a daily basis to ensure that time deadlines are met and that urgent work is accommodated.
* To receive and provide information from a variety of sources, either paper documentation, telephone or direct contact and provide information and advice to all staff/clients and external agencies as required by ensuring these are dealt with within the agreed timescales.
* Maintaining up to date and accurate diaries which involves making service-related appointments, interviews, arranging meetings/events/hearings, booking venues and arranging travel requirements.
* Support/assist in the organisation of seminars, training events, conferences, workshops
* To maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of the work, complying with policies and procedures on the safeguarding of personally identifiable information.
* Assist in time limited projects
* To prepare for meetings and to participate, take accurate notes and follow up actions, produce minutes and circulate as per Trust Guidance.
