The Role
As an ILS Manager, you’ll be at the heart of delivering support solutions for the Arrowhead programme, ensuring our cutting-edge warships remain mission ready. This is a customer-facing role where you’ll collaborate with highly skilled Engineers, Managers and Technicians to shape the future of naval support. Your work will make a tangible difference to national security and give you the opportunity to grow your career in defence, aerospace, and engineering.
Day-to-day, you’ll be the key liaison between the Authority and the T26 Warship Technical Authority (WTA). Supporting the Lead and Principal Engineers to ensure compliance requirements, while delivering objectives to ensure readiness to deliver support to each in-service vessel.
Responsibilities
* Supporting planning and execution of IKM aspects of project workstreams.
* Acting as the T26 Information & Knowledge Management (IKM) Subject Matter Expert, providing advice and guidance.
* Ensuring compliance with security, ITAR/EC and intellectual property requirements.
* Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Participating in assurance activities to validate the supportability case.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.
Essential Experience
* Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
* Expertise in Information & Knowledge Management (IKM) and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).
* Engineering background (mechanical or electrical); Royal Navy experience highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills with customer-facing experience.
* Ability to operate in compliance-driven environments.
Qualifications
* Honours degree (or higher) in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
* Chartered Engineer status and membership of a relevant professional institute or significant demonstrable supportability engineering experience.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
