Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a positive environment for our clients. Responsibilities & Duties
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
* Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
* Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Uphold the dignity and respect of all residents while fostering a safe and supportive environment.
* Support individuals in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication management, and mobility assistance.
Experience
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with creating and following care plans is beneficial.
* Proficiency in IT systems for record-keeping and communication purposes.
* Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with residents, families, and team members.
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for this role.
