You will be responsible for designing, supervising, and managing site investigations projects such as looking at for slope stability, landslip remediation, embedded and gravity retaining structures, and working platforms. Managing and mentoring other members of the team. Attending and supervising ground investigation sites when necessary. Conducting Serviceability and Ultimate Limit State geotechnical design calculations. Producing concept and detailed design. Achieving delivery targets to quality, cost, and time efficiency. Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer - REQUIREMENTS Working towards or achieved chartered engineer status Previous geotechnical design experience including designing retaining walls, soil nail/rock anchors, foundations, and scheme design geotechnical drawings Knowledge of ground modelling Knowledge of Eurocode standards Proficient with ACAD. A full UK driving license. Previous experience in settlement and bearing capacity calculations, and ground investigation procurement and management. Ideal candidates will have highways experience, but this is not necessary.
