Support Worker
Location: Birmingham
Pay: Up to £34,779 (depending on experience and qualifications)
At Cambian Group, you’re not just working - you’re shaping futures. As a Support Worker, based in the West Midlands, every moment you spend with our young people (ages 8–18) helps them feel safe, valued and supported.
A simple 'How was your day?', a shared laugh over a board game or encouragement during a tough moment - these small interactions build trust and shape lives. Some days will be challenging but every breakthrough, every smile and every step forward will remind you why this work truly matters.
What You’ll Do
* Support young people with their daily routines; getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities.
* Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.
* Lead shift and deputise home manager.
* Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
* Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects.
* Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.
Where you'll do it
The home is a Victorian style house, with beautiful features and a large garden. It is a 4 bedded home with large rooms and facilities, uniquely located close to the city public transport and within a distance of the city centre and countryside.
Currently, there are no young people in the home, but previously they enjoyed living at Grange because of the beautiful garden and proximity to all amenities. The home has a therapeutic approach with support from a clinical team.
Our Support
We have a dedicated team within the company who offer numerous support services, including HR, IT, Clinical, learning and development.
