Economic Insight is an economics consultancy based in central London with just over 20 employees.

We are looking for a full-time administrator for our Business Support function, supporting our People and Client Teams and to ensure that the office runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. This is a fixed term contract for 14 months starting January 2026.

This is a varied role; the responsibilities of the administrator include:

* Office and general administration – maintaining the office environment and equipment, working with suppliers where appropriate, ordering supplies, supporting with IT, maintaining SharePoint.
* Finance administration – supporting the Business Support Managers with client invoicing, bookkeeping, supplier payments, expenses and credit control.
* Client Team support – supporting with the organisation of client events, client comms, keeping our client relationship monitoring (CRM) system up-to-date, research to support marketing activities.
* People Team support - HR administration, supporting with onboarding and offboarding staff, holiday booking, benefits management. Supporting recruitment processes, arranging team social events and birthdays.
* EA Support – arranging client lunches, booking travel and arranging meetings.

The role would suit someone who is proactive, well-organised, communicates effectively, and always holds themselves to high professional standards with a high degree of care for the team they work with. It would also suit someone who is flexible, enjoys a diverse role, and is able to prioritise in response to changing needs of the business.

This is an excellent opportunity to experience the business operations of an SME and understand how they support the delivery of client work. We are looking for someone with either around three years of relevant work experience, obtained by undertaking different aspects of the role in small professional services companies or relevant experience from volunteering or higher education studies. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.

The salary is in the region of £30k - £35k dependent on experience. The expectation is that at this is a predominantly office-based role with the flexibility of occasional home working.
