Job Description:
Anderselite is currently working with an expanding South Wales office and is seeking talented Architectural Technologists, Architectural Assistants (Part I and II), and Architects eager to progress their careers and enhance their experience. Join a busy and passionate team working on diverse projects across multiple sectors, including Commercial, Education, and Defence.
You will work with long-standing clients, gaining exposure to a wide range of projects. The client offers excellent experience and mentorship to help you achieve your ambitions, with clear pathways to Chartership, Senior, or Associate levels.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Developing detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents in collaboration with Project Architects and Design Teams.
* Preparing planning applications, building regulation submissions, and other project documentation.
* Conducting site visits and liaising with Contracts, Consultants, and Clients to ensure smooth project progression.
* Contributing to innovative and sustainable design solutions using your technical knowledge.
* Staying updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to improve project outcomes.
Additional duties include:
* Producing accurate technical drawings.
* Collaborating using Revit to translate design concepts into construction documents.
* Coordinating project activities and liaising with stakeholders.
* Conducting site visits to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.
* Applying current Building Regulations and codes to designs and documentation.
* Preparing and submitting Building Regulation applications.
* Communicating technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
* Fostering a multidisciplinary approach to project development.
Skills and requirements include:
* Relevant Architectural Qualification.
* Strong understanding of Building Regulations, construction methods, and design stages.
* Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
* Valid UK driving license.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Knowledge of:
* MS Office and Teams.
* CAD and Revit.
* IT literacy.
