Role / Description
* Lead and support development activities across R&D projects.
* Plan and conduct experimental programmes involving polymer synthesis and material development.
* Carry out laboratory and pilot-scale experimentation in collaboration with wider technical teams.
* Record, analyse and interpret experimental data, producing clear technical reports.
* Participate in cross-functional discussions to align technical developments with market needs.
* Maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping in accordance with site and regulatory requirements (e.g., REACH, COSHH).
* Keep up to date with developments in polymer technology and related fields.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative new concepts.
Requirements
* Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry or similar.
* Proven industrial experience in developing and/or testing the applications of polymers (adhesives/coatings/sealants/elastomers will be considered).
* Strong working knowledge of analytical chemistry, physical testing and thermal analysis.
