Job Title: Industrial Farm Operatives
Location: Crossnacreevy
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Salary: £26,449 per annum

About the Role
This position is based at the research farm in Crossnacreevy. The role involves hands-on work with crop trials, including wheat, barley, oats, and grasses. You’ll play a key role in supporting field experiments and maintaining high standards in farm operations.
Responsibilities
* Ploughing fields
* Spraying crops
* Sowing seeds
* Harvesting using combine machinery
* Operating Haldrups and other specialist equipment
* Using fertiliser spreaders
* Lawn maintenance with Kubota machinery
Qualifications
* Essential Criteria: Minimum of 2 GCSEs (grades A*-C), including English Language and Maths, or equivalent qualifications
* At least 6 months of relevant experience in tasks such as ploughing, spraying, sowing, and combining
* A valid UK driving licence
Desirable Skills & Experience
* PA1 and PA2a spraying qualifications
