Overview
This Lead Veterinary Surgeon role is with Compass Associates in Leicester. The position is full time/permanent, 40 hours per week, over 4 or 5 days. Salary up to £75,000 DOE plus relocation package.
Lead Veterinary Surgeon to manage the practice team with support from the Practice Manager and Clinical Director. The practice has certificate holders in ophthalmology, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery and emergency critical care, supported by a 24-hour nursing and veterinary team. The role has a clinical focus with 0.5 day per week for admin, and access to in-house facilities including a CT scanner, dental suites with dental X-ray, video endoscopy, ASIF kit, TPLO/TTA/Tightrope, arthroscopy, and advanced ophthalmology equipment.
There is an emphasis on team case discussions, monthly knowledge sharing, and wellness-focused work-life balance with personalised rotas.

Working Hours
40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days. Happy to discuss individual requirements.
Requirements
* RCVS registration and a minimum of 5 years GP experience
* Able to perform routine surgeries and imaging without support
* Be confident to do both consult and surgery
Location
The surgery is located in Leicester with excellent transport links across the city and surrounding areas including Coventry, Loughborough, Northampton, Derby and Nottingham.
