Adecco are recruiting on behalf of a train operating company in Castle Cary train station, to help with the Glastonbury festival. The main tasks of the role are dealing with customers within the station during a high profile event. You would be responsible for ensuring the safety of customers when entering and leaving the station by providing a high standard of customer care and support to colleagues. Full training is provided and fully paid. Salary: £13.00 per hour £100 Bonus if you hit our criteria Start date: 25th-30th June excluding the 28th - shifts 8am - 8pm * You must be able to commit to the whole 5 days* You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Responsibilities will include: Provide a high standard of customer care Greeting, assisting and directing people attending the event Ensure the safety of customers when entering and leaving the station Respond to incidents and provide professional & empathetic support to customers and colleagues Display exceptional time keeping, appearance and be able to go the extra mile Crowd Safety and crowd control - Dealing with varied customer flow & behaviour and spotting potential risks. You will work alongside Station staff to ensure the safety of passengers at all times passing through the Station and by assisting those passengers with any concerns or issues they may have.
