This position offers the opportunity to be part of a professional and fast-paced environment, supporting international freight movements and ensuring a high level of customer service and operational accuracy within the export gateway department. Key Responsibilities - Air Export Gateway Operator Manage daily communication with partners, customers, and internal departments via email and telephone. Coordinate with local and overseas operations teams to ensure all shipments are processed on time and to the highest standard. Oversee export gateway processes including consolidations, airline allocations, and flight planning. Ensure all export documentation complies with commodity, airline, and country-specific requirements. Maintain accuracy and quality of all shipment data within company systems. Take responsibility for accurate costing, invoicing, and billing of shipments. Support the wider operations team in meeting daily KPIs and performance deadlines. Resolve operational issues efficiently and professionally, maintaining high service standards at all times. Skills and Experience Required - Air Export Gateway Operator Minimum of 2 years' experience in Air Export operations within a freight forwarding or gateway environment. Strong understanding of export procedures, airline requirements, and customs documentation. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. High attention to detail, accuracy, and numeracy. Confident IT user with the ability to learn new systems quickly - knowledge of CargoWise (CW1) is advantageous. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous manner. Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
