We offer a supportive and rewarding work environment with a wide range of benefits: Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience Mileage paid at 48p per mile (first 10,000 miles), then 25p per mile Meal allowances for overnight stays: £10 for breakfast, £25 for evening meals Overnight accommodation arranged and paid for by the company Annual £80 contribution towards professional registration Attend up to 2 agreed and appropriate conferences per year Annual leave: 20 days plus 8 bank holidays - up 25 days after one year Day off on your birthday Blue Light Card access for retail and high street discounts Wellbeing app including fitness, nutrition, meditations and more 24/7 confidential Employee Assistance Programme On-site wellbeing room at Head Office Company pension scheme and enhanced sick pay after probation About the Role We are looking for a professional and proactive Registered Manager/RMN to lead a team to take people, with severe autism and associated mental health conditions, from low to medium secure units, back home to their local community.You will lead this new and exciting HCD Genesis project, with a specifically trained head office team, to bring people, with complex Learning Disabilities / Autism and associated mental health issues, out of long stay hospitals back home. HCD Genesis has been specifically created to use the HCD Model to work with and help ICBs nationally to comply with the law change in the non-admission to secure units of people with primary complex autism and associated mental health conditions. This is a Head Office and community-based management role, working in partnership with other qualified professionals to meet the needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities To have overall responsibility for the management of HCD Genesis Regional RMN Nurses and Care Leads. Support the day-to-day management in meeting KPI targets Collaborate with internal teams and external professionals Take the lead on Special Measures meetings Provide support to the Head Office teams and HCD Genesis nurses regarding safeguarding issues and to ensure correct procedures are followed Liaise with the Training Manager to ensure staff training needs are being met Effectively manage any complaints relating to HCD Genesis employees Promote the rights of each client and ensure their wishes are at the centre of their support Participate in the growth and development of the service Promote excellent customer service throughout the workplace, ensuring communication processes are meeting client expectations Raise any concerns with the Clinical Operations Director Ensure notifications are submitted to the CQC as required Undertake and support specific projects and tasks allocated by the Company Directors Attend quarterly management meetings What Were Looking For NMC-registered Mental Health Nurse (Band 5 or higher) qualified for at least 2years Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Experience in Forensic Mental Health Extensive knowledge of the Health & Social Care Act 2008 Previous experience of working in a Management role Previous experience of Complex Autism with associated Mental Health conditions Competent in Microsoft Office and IT systems Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle Flexible and professional with a high attention to detail Desirable: Experience in facilitating or planning discharges from specialist inpatient settings Desirable: Experience of home-based support services Desirable: Knowledge of Personal Health Budgets, Direct Payments and Case Management compensation claims Personal Attributes Caring and compassionate with the ability to relate well to others Excellent communication and listening skills Ability to adapt to changing needs and work under pressure Good time management skills Strategic thinker and a practical problem solver The ability to work calmly and think clearly, under pressure Make a Real Difference At HomeCareDirect, we are committed to safe, fair recruitment and ensuring all staff are vetted, trained, and supervised to the highest standards.A full, enhanced DBS certificate will be obtained for this role.
