Who we are:
Working for a world recognised defence organisation – refit and maintenance of all serving vessels, such as QEC and Type 45 Destroyers. This team handles the constructive aspects of maintenance, including new components and structural repairs, of the British Naval Fleet.

What you’ll be doing:
* Achieve a minimum of 60% skill competency against MS_Constructive competencies
* Perform a trade-specific risk assessment before each task, as detailed by the Team Leader
* Follow all risk assessments, BAE policies, and legal requirements
* Ensure tools and equipment are suitable, fit for purpose, and up to date for inspections
* Attend training courses, Toolbox Talks, and briefings as required
* Build positive relationships with customers, manage expectations, and mentor apprentices
* Report accidents, incidents, and near misses promptly
Your skills and experiences:
* Completed an appropriate trade apprenticeship, naval equivalent qualifications, or NVQ in Trade
* Experience in fabrication
* Proficient with a wide range of hand tools and equipment
* Relevant industry experience in Marine, Oil & Gas, Heavy Construction, or Rolling Stock
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
