We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Newly Qualified Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our established nursing team at Broadford Hospital, our brand new facility for Skye and the surrounding area. We work closely with our sister hospital in Portree so there will be an opportunity for you to work in both hospital sites. T his permanent post supports our vision of a highly skilled, experienced, flexible workforce that has knowledge and skills in delivering modernised services. You would be part of a dedicated professional nursing Team delivering a high standard of nursing care on a mixed medical admissions ward. The work is dynamic and varied due to our rural community and it being a popular holiday destination. One of our Service's top priorities is nurturing the next generation of staff. The ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic newly qualified Band 5 who would like to consolidate their skills to deliver high quality care. You will be working with and supported to develop by a Band 7 Senior Charge Nurse, Band 6 senior staff nurses and work alongside other Band 5’s and Health Care Support Workers. They will provide you with expert advice on patients with any complex issues and developing sound clinical practice. We have a variety of full and part time posts available that include an Internal rotation of day and night duties. If you’re not looking for a permanent contract at this point in time then we would welcome applications for Band 5 nurses to join our bank scheme or nurses looking for fixed term contracts.
