Job Title: Principal Early Childhood Educator
The successful candidate will be highly qualified with expertise in early childhood learning and development. As a Principal Early Childhood Educator, your main purpose is to lead and deputise for the Head of Killin Primary School in managing the service. We seek someone enthusiastic to lead and support family learning across the nursery, taking a lead role in managing, planning, and implementing a flexible, high-quality early learning and childcare service tailored to the needs of young children and their families in the nursery and wider community.
You will confidently lead and support team practice and teamwork across the nursery, facilitating, coordinating, and leading curriculum planning and development. You will inspire, motivate, support, and challenge colleagues in developing their practice. You will lead and support the implementation of suitable learning programmes that meet the needs of individual children in line with Local and National Guidance. Candidates should hold or be willing to work towards a relevant SCQF Level 9 qualification and be registered as a Manager with the SSSC (currently or within 3 months of starting employment).
