Your Role
As a pharmacist at Asda, you will always be there for our customers, providing great service and excellent care. A typical day involves dispensing medication, delivering NHS and private services, managing your team, and ensuring fast‑paced and varied service. It has early mornings, evenings, and weekends to meet customers' needs. You will build strong relationships in the local community, help vulnerable people, and provide emergency prescriptions and urgent care. Strong leadership, teamwork, safety focus, and excellent communication and empathy are essential. You will receive regular feedback, business updates, and opportunities to gain further accreditations funded by Asda.
Responsibilities
* Dispense medication accurately and safely.
* Deliver NHS and private healthcare services, including emergency prescriptions and urgent care.
* Manage and lead the pharmacy team, ensuring customer and patient care excellence.
* Maintain safety standards and work collaboratively within the team.
* Meet business targets and provide regular feedback and updates.
* Participate in ongoing professional development and accreditation opportunities.
Qualifications
* Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
* Accredited to deliver national and local NHS services and private healthcare.
* Proven leadership skills in a fast‑paced pharmacy environment.
* Excellent communication and empathy skills.
* Strong leadership and team‑working abilities.
* Drive and ambition to meet pharmacy business targets.
Working Hours / Rota
* Week1: Monday 9‑6, Wednesday 9‑9, Friday 9‑9.
* Week2: Saturday 9‑9, Monday 9‑6, Friday 9‑9.
