Job Title: Store Assistant
Overview:
One Stop Sandyford are seeking a dynamic Store Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a clean and organised store environment. Hours:
20 hours
3 months probation
Duties:
* Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
* Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences
* Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system
* Maintain a neat and tidy store appearance
* Participate in inventory management and stock replenishment
* Resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively
* Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions
* Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
* Effective communicate with store manager to keep then informed
Qualifications:
* Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Basic maths and literacy skills for handling transactions
* Candidate needs to be age 18 or over due to handling alcohol, tobacco & lottery products
* Full flexibility required as hours can vary from 5.45am to 10pm Monday to Friday and 6.30am to 10pm Saturday & Sunday.
