You'll assist in preparing and presenting nutritious, hygienic meals with attention to safety and quality. Working closely with the ward team, you'll ensure timely assembly of patient trays and provide courteous, high quality service throughout the day. If you're passionate about making a difference through excellent food service, we'd love to hear from you!What You'll Do:Ensure all patient and visitor refreshment orders are taken accurately, with allergies and dietary requirements clearly communicated and recordedTransport and deliver food and refreshments in a timely, hygienic manner, providing assistance to patients as neededMaintain cleanliness and hygiene of crockery, cutlery, trays, equipment, and the ward kitchen, reporting any issues or malfunctionsMonitor stock levels, rotation, and wastage, ensuring proper record keeping and efficient resource useFollow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, including Infection Prevention and Control, to ensure a safe environmentCommunicate professionally, politely, and tactfully with patients, visitors, and colleagues, resolving issues effectivelyComplete all required documentation, audits, and quality standards within designated timeframesWhat You Bring:Previous experience in similar roleExcellent craft and presentation skillsGood communication and literacy skillsGood customer focus with attention to detailLevel 2 Food Hygiene CertificateWhat we offer:Working at Sodexo isn't just a job — it's a chance to make a difference every day.
