Assistant Site Manager

We are currently looking for 2 experienced
Assistant Site Managers
to assist the team on a
new build housing development
in
Cambridgeshire.
Start date for this role will be in October but due to the longevity of these contracts we are wanting to interview the right candidates prior to the start. This will be for 1 big site that will be operating 2 phases with 2 compounds. 1 required for 18 months, the other required for 22 months.
The ideal candidate will have strong residential experience and be confident in overseeing day-to-day site operations to ensure continuity and safety whilst on site.
Key Responsibilities:
Support daily site operations, ensuring work continues to plan and programme
Manage sub-contractors on-site, maintaining quality standards and health & safety compliance
Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks where necessary
Monitor and report on progress to senior management
Address any minor site issues to ensure smooth delivery during the cover period
Assist with general site documentation and record-keeping
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager on new build housing projects
Valid
SMSTS or SSSTS ,
CSCS, and
First Aid
certification
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to hit the ground running and manage day-to-day site activities
