You'll be at the forefront of creating detailed and accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings using industry-standard software. Reporting directly to the Lead Engineer, this is your chance to make a real impact in a business that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Design: Create detailed and accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings using industry-standard software. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop CAD designs that meet project requirements and specifications. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve design quality.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate and organised design documentation, including CAD files, drawings, and design change records.
* Collaboration: Communicate effectively with engineers, providing status updates, sharing insights, and addressing design challenges.
* Innovation: Stay current with industry trends, CAD software advancements, and emerging technologies relevant to our products and solutions. Contribute creative ideas and solutions to design challenges, aiming to enhance product performance and functionality.
* Quality/Health and Safety/Environmental/Information Security: Undertake all duties in a safe manner for yourself and others. Comply with all parts of our ISO 9001, quality management system. Comply with all parts of our ISO 45001, health and safety management system. Comply with all parts of our ISO 14001, environmental management system. Comply with all parts of our ISO 27001, information security management system.
About You
* 5+ years' experience in a CAD Engineer role
* Proven experience in creating detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings
* Expertise with industry-standard CAD software
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001 standards
