Job Summary

The Trust is seeking to recruit Team Administrator/s to join the West Dorset / Purbeck and East Dorset Steps 2 Wellbeing teams.

The service provides a range of Step 2 and Step 3 psychological therapy options including Low and High-Intensity CBT, Psycho‑educational groups, and Counselling.

This is a part‑time vacancy consisting of a three‑day role for our West Dorset team and a two‑day role for our Purbeck and East Dorset team. The successful applicant for the Purbeck and East Dorset team must be able to work on a Tuesday, which includes a late shift on a rota basis. We would consider two part‑time candidates or one full‑time candidate with a split location over the two bases. The administrator/s will be responsible for ensuring a confidential, efficient and comprehensive administrative service is provided to Steps to Wellbeing patients and staff. The successful applicant/s will need to be able to work one evening shift per week.

Responsibilities

* Provide confidential and efficient administrative support to Steps to Wellbeing patients and staff.
* Handle a high volume of incoming calls to the contact centre, including distressed clients.
* Deliver a high level of customer care and accurate data entry into the database.
* Work one evening shift per week and, for the Purbeck and East Dorset team, work a Tuesday late shift on a rota basis.
* Travel to other locations if required.

Qualifications and Skills

* Good customer care communication skills and an excellent telephone manner.
* Attention to detail and ability to cope with complex tasks using a database that requires input and questioning of client information.
* Previous experience working in a busy office environment.
* Ability to work accurately under pressure while remaining calm and courteous.
* Excellent teamwork and self‑motivation.
* Enthusiastic, self‑motivated and hard‑working.

Employment Conditions

Employment requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check; the Trust will cover the cost. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service can present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.

The position is part‑time: three days for the West Dorset team and two days for the Purbeck and East Dorset team, with the option of two part‑time candidates or one full‑time candidate split between bases.
