About Our Client

You will independently manage a caseload of serious injury claims typically valued between £150,000 and £5 million+, predominantly arising from road traffic accidents. Alongside fee‑earning responsibilities, you will also provide mentorship to colleagues and contribute to the continued growth and strategic development of the department.

3. Manage and progress your own caseload of complex, high‑value serious injury claims.
4. Deliver outstanding client care, maintaining strong and empathetic relationships through regular communication and meetings.
5. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary experts including medical specialists, case managers, architects, forensic accountants, and counsel.
6. Draft high‑quality legal documentation such as witness statements, pleadings, and schedules of loss.
7. Secure early interim payments and appropriate rehabilitation support for clients.
8. Lead and mentor members of the client case team, conducting reviews, providing guidance, and supporting their development.
9. Support the implementation of new processes and best practice across the team.
10. Actively engage in business development activities, including writing articles, reporting cases, and representing the department within relevant industry organisations (e.g., APIL, Headway, SIA).
11. Drive case progression while meeting KPIs relating to client care, team performance, fee income, and recoveries.

The Successful Applicant

12. Qualified Solicitor or CILEx Fellow with approx. 8+ years PQE or equivalent demonstrable expertise.
13. Proven experience handling high‑value serious injury cases as lead fee earner.
14. Strong technical litigation skills and excellent knowledge of court procedures.
15. Experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues; a collaborative team player and role model.
16. Demonstrable commitment to delivering exceptional client care.
17. Strong professional reputation with experience raising organisational profile within the personal injury sector.
18. Ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment while maintaining high standards.
