About the Role:
An esteemed accountancy practice based in Chelmsford is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Senior Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to lead and manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality accounting and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage a portfolio of clients, providing expert advice and support on a range of accounting and financial matters.
* Lead and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring the highest standards of work and professional development.
* Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for all client queries and concerns.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
* Identify opportunities for business development and contribute to the growth of the practice.
* Collaborate with other departments to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
Qualifications and Experience:
* ACA/ACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
* Proven track record of managing a diverse client portfolio and delivering high-quality accounting services.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
* In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
