Working as part of Almac Group’s Outreach team, the successful candidate will help plan, design and deliver engaging STEM outreach events and activities that inspire young people and promote awareness of the wide range of career opportunities available at Almac Group.
The role involves supporting outreach initiatives across schools, colleges and universities, combining office-based and remote work with travel to external events. In this varied role, you’ll play an important part in helping Almac maintain its strong reputation as an employer of choice across Northern Ireland, ROI and the UK.

What we are looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated science-qualified individual who enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic environment and working with people. If you are organised, proactive, and passionate about encouraging the next generation to consider careers in the pharmaceutical industry, this role offers an excellent opportunity to build your skills and confidence in a professional outreach setting.
You should hold a third-level degree (B.Sc. or equivalent) in a scientific discipline and have some experience – through study, placements, volunteering or work – of delivering presentations or engaging with external audiences.
Applications from recent graduates or those about to graduate in 2026 with prior experience of working within the pharmaceutical industry are welcome.
The successful candidate must have a full driver’s licence, access to transport and have eligibility to work in the UK/IE OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time, permanent employment in the UK/IE. The successful candidate will undergo Access NI clearance prior to commencing post.
