Role Overview The Handyman will carry out a wide range of general maintenance tasks across our managed properties. You’ll be attending scheduled appointments, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Carry out general repairs including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor electrical tasks Attend tenant-reported maintenance issues and diagnose problems on-site Complete pre‑tenancy and end‑of‑tenancy repairs Assist with property inspections and provide recommendations for remedial works Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used Communicate professionally with tenants, landlords, and office staff Report any major issues requiring specialist contractors Requirements Proven experience in a similar handyman/maintenance role Strong practical skills across a range of trades Full UK driving licence and access to own tools/transport (if applicable) Ability to work independently and manage your own workload Good communication and problem‑solving skills Professional, reliable, and customer‑focused approach Knowledge of lettings/property management environments is desirable but not essential What We Offer Competitive salary Flexible working hours Mileage or travel allowance (if applicable) Supportive team environment Opportunities for additional training and development Stable, ongoing work within a growing property portfolio How to Apply Please send your CV and a brief summary of your experience to info@tmsmanagement.co.uk.
