Experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Independent Practice | Angus, Scotland An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a long-established, proudly independent veterinary practice based in the beautiful county of Angus, Scotland. About the Role The position involves working within a fully small animal environment, managing a varied medical and surgical caseload across modern practice facilities throughout Angus. The rota is shared fairly amongst the veterinary team, including participation in the practice’s own out-of-hours service, allowing for excellent case continuity and rewarding clinical involvement. Day-to-day responsibilities will include: Consultations and preventative healthcare Routine and emergency surgical procedures Diagnostic workups and case management Inpatient care and client communication Working closely with experienced nursing and support teams Contributing to the ongoing development of clinical standards and services The practice is well-equipped with in-house diagnostic facilities including biochemistry, haematology and urinalysis capabilities, allowing vets to work cases up thoroughly and efficiently.
